|Community Service Event – World Medical Relief
Organized by the Emerging Leaders Community Engagement Team
Saturday, December 8, 2018
21725 Melrose Avenue
Southfield, MI 48075
9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
World Medical Relief has provided medical assistance through donations since 1953. The Detroit based organization recently opened the world’s first refurbished pacemaker center to provide affordable pacemakers to underserved populations. Their work positively impacts families locally, nationally and internationally.
We’re excited to offer this opportunity to support the organization through volunteering our time. Please join us on December 8 from 9 am to 11:30 am when we will be working in their warehouse to sort donated medical devices and supplies. Children of any age, families, and guests are welcome to join this volunteer event.
If you are interested in supporting the organization outside of volunteering, please take a moment to review the list of accepted medical supplies and other donations at https://www.worldmedicalrelief.org/donate.
