Luanne Thomas Ewald, MHA, FACHE, Chief Operating Officer, Michigan Health System C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital. Ms. Thomas Ewald previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM). Prior to her role as CEO, she was Regional Vice President of Business Development at the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) while also serving as Vice President of Business Development at CHM.
Ms. Thomas Ewald is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has served on ACHE’s Regents Advisory Council. She is the Past-President of the Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (MCACHE).
Recent Professional honors include: 2018; named as one of the Notable Women in Healthcare by Crain’s Detroit Business and named as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s Women to Watch, 2019; awarded the Leadership Detroit Inspirational Leadership Award by the Detroit Regional Chamber.
