This program focuses on the management level of millennials and how they handle multigenerational staff in the early years of management. Many organizations have lost senior level experience over the past few years, putting young millennials in leadership positions.

How to manage multigenerational staff from the millennial managers standpoint. This program will explore the prospective from a large tertiary hospital, a long-term acute care, and a behavioral health care facility.

Some Issues:

  1. How do different generational attitudes, values, and work ethic exceptions affect each organization?
  2. How do your policies on diversity set a tone of generational inclusion and sensitivity?
  3. How do you leverage your organization’s/department culture to influence and develop strong multigenerational relationships and improve interaction between the organization and the patient?
  4. What challenges can arise from recruiting employees from various generations? What are the benefits of a multigenerational team?
