MCACHE’s Student Activities Committee has prepared for the 17th annual Job Shadow Day scheduled for any day in February. The purpose of the job shadow day is to link graduate students enrolled in Health Services Administration programs at Eastern Michigan University, Oakland University, Siena Heights University, the University of Detroit Mercy, the University of Michigan for a day of observation.
The job shadow day will:
• Raise awareness of MCACHE and ACHE among health care professionals, universities, students and the general public.
• Raise awareness of health care systems and health care careers.
• Raise awareness among health care systems of a wider pool of job candidates.
• Increase membership in MCACHE and ACHE.
The MCACHE Chapter is looking forward to hearing about the experiences of both the students and the health care professionals.
