Leading in Crisis – Session 2: Leading in the Next Normal: Making Meaning for Yourself and Your Organization

September 17 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

September 17, 2020 – 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. EDT

This webinar is based on conversations with leaders at all levels and types of healthcare organizations over the last 3 months and is focused on continuing to build the necessary resilience for leading in the long haul. Topics include the whole person’s impact of leading in crisis, navigating paradox, and overcoming resistance. It is presented in a coaching style to support shifts in mindset and build skill sets to continue to successfully navigate these times of uncertainty and lack of control.

Speaker:

Janet Pinkerton Dombrowski, MHSA, BSN, Founder and President, JCD Advisors, spent nearly 20 years as a senior strategy leader in various consulting organizations and large health systems, after an early career in health care delivery and operations. Having built her credibility as a trusted advisor to many executives with intuition, integrative thinking, and a direct approach, Janet wanted to bring more of her “self” to her work. She chose to build on her skills at creating synergy and ensuring alignment in projects and processes to doing the same for individuals and teams through organizational development consulting and executive and physician coaching.

Ms. Dombrowski received her Master in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, where she remains active as a member of the Alumni Board and as an adjunct faculty member. Janet has additional certifications from the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Wisdom Works in Transformational Coaching, and other certifications in culture shaping and a variety of leadership assessments. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
